Here is something I just realized while writing, part one to eight of "Road Trippin' North Germany And Poland" which basically takes you trough our summer vacation from day one to eight.
The second we got home, unpacked and I had developed the photos from the trip. I started writing the stories (Experiences as Worldly calls them), in details day by day, talking, laughing and getting Maria to help me remember and tell the story right.
Now that I am finished the vacation got so much better, its actually right there on the edge to become an epic vacation, and i know for a fact that.
I will never forget this vacation!
And as a bonus, when the experiences are written and published, it's easy to share to your Other Social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus etc. etc, for friends and family to see.
I enjoyed this process so much and I really hope that I encouraged you to try it out, I for one would love to see your recommendations and experiences.
A little note about Worldly:Come explore what the world has to offer. Worldly brings together real life experiences, from real people. It's the place to keep and share life's adventures, activities and passions. Discover new possibilities from others. Exchange ideas, share interests and take inspiration from real life.
After a fantastic road trip around norther Europe more exactly Germany and Poland, I have as always created a experience about it over @ Worldly.
This is art one of eight that I will publish over the next couple of days. Part one will take you to fantastic and beautiful Sanssouci Palace.
Part One to Eight is now done and published, take a look and let me know your verdict.
Hope to see you over there.
Recently I was asked by a friend how I so often managed to spice up my photos with these blurry foregrounds in post production, and if I had a preset or a action for Photoshop he could get from me to help him get the result like the image below.
Well I don't, but when I told him how easy he could do it he was pretty amazed and very grateful for my advice.
Here is an example of a beautiful fern with shot in clear view, its not at all a bad shot it has a beautiful bokeh, but in my opinion it misses something, and doesn't stand out from the crowd.
Now lets take a shot of the same fern just shooting trough some other leafs on the fern, to give your photo more depth and mystery.
Looks great don't you think... I love it :-)
Here is a few more examples:
Hope you liked my little trick to spice up your photography, and I gave you some fresh ideas for new subjects.
Have a great summer.

My first movie ever.
Well for a long time now, I have been thinking about making some short videos. From my photo trips from here and there.
One thing is to wanna make a video, its a whole other game to actually go out and shoot, and learn a whole new program to edit the video.
Well no guts no glory. I hereby present my first video EVER!
Wohoo a overcast and rainy Sunday usually equals house cleaning and taking care of the Laundry. But not today nope today I got to sit back and let my creativity flow in Photoshop
For some weird unspoken reason I always end up with these spooky composites, haunting my sweet wife's mind, and making her hate them so much that she only wanna see them once......... Mission accomplished He he :-).
Some of you might remember my photos from the Abandoned farm in the middle of the old Air force base, that I shared a couple of days ago.
Those photos aren't bad at all they reflect the beauty in decay and abandoned places that I love so much, but they just kept hanging there in the back of my head. I wanted do do more I wanted to push the boundaries and make them really unique.
Now I am not gonna write a entire tutorial, on how to make this kind of composite, tonight but if you are curious, just say the word and ill write one up for you.
But if you are really lucky and have visited some haunted houses while shooting RAW, ill bet you you can find a ghost in at least one of them. :-)
Nah just kidding, I edited the ghosts in the photos in Photoshop afterwards :-)
Well hope you like the composites and they didn't creep you too much, please share with your friends and followers, if you like this post.
Have a good one.
I love photography, I love the idea of saving that split second in time, knowing that it will never happen again.
In the old days that what I would answer when people asked me why I love photography and how I keeps finding new subjects in places I have visited hundreds if not thousands of times before.
Lets look at the Anemone one of the prettiest flower in the world, and there are so many of them every year that the possibilities are endless when it comes to taking a photo of them.
That's what I used to do going out an hour or two every day taking a few single shots of what ever I could find, just like the photo above. But I really never got satisfied something was missing, not with the challenge of taking the photo, or publishing it here and there on social media sites, people liked what they saw, plussed, liked, shared and commented you know the whole shebang.
But then one day I got invited to this new site called worldly, a place where people like me could tell a story, and share the entire experience on how and why I took this walk and photographed the Anemones.
As usual when I get invited to new websites I am a little hesitant, but a couple of weeks earlier I had visited A ecological farm, And I had actually taken a series of photos with a story in mind, but I had no where to post them other than my own blog. So it was a golden opportunity to give it a go.
And so I did uploaded the photos created my story read it over, and pressed the publish button, and then I was hooked. It was such a huge satisfaction for me, to share a set of photos that told the entire story instead of just sharing single shots, and receiving the plus, like, and comment that it comes with. Now don't get me wrong I still share those single photos without a story attached, and I still appreciate all the feedback you guys give me :-)
Now a days when I go out to photograph I always have a story in mind, I am constantly thinking and planning new exiting photo trips for me and Loki (My dog). This have really opened my world and I have found places that I most likely wouldn't have been if it wasn't for worldly.
Just yesterday I went to Værløse old Air force Base, a surreal place that just was stopped in time when the Air force moved to new locations.
Thank you for reading trough, and I hope you got curious, enough to visit and give worldly a go. I can't promise you that it is something for you, but I can promise you that the first time you post a entire story you will feel the same sort of excitement that you had the first time you received positive feedback you one of your published photos.
Oh all the photos used in this post links directly to one of my experiences on worldly.
