A short edit of a few minutes of footage from Classic Race Aarhus 2017
A while back I wrote a tutoria called Aerial HDR workflow process this tutorial uses the old possibility in Photoshop to open a 32 bit HDR file directly in Adobe Camera raw.
In the latest Photoshop CC Adobe has disabled the posibility to open 32 bit HDR directly in Camera raw. And while your still able to click the button all you end up with is a error message.
To bypass this error you have to settle for a 16 bit HDR image :-(
Go to Image->Mode->16bit Channel a pop up will open asking you if you want to merge click dont Merge and finally choose Camera Raw
You can read more about it on Adobe here
Viking one is a great preset for those long exposure landscape photos, it pulls down the shadows and gives that final touch to the highlights that makes your image pow.
It is used on all 4 images below here:

Found a neat little build in feature where you can check your images against known composition rules while cropping.
You can use it to learn and master your compositions, and at times tun a great image into a really great photograph.
It's quite simple and dosen't require any plugin.
In develop module select any image hit R to open crop tool by default this overlays the Rules of third composition rule. now press O to shuffle between the 5 know rule sets.
In order from lightroom
Remember that the rules are only a guide to help you crop into a pleasing composition for your viewers. There is nothing wrong in breaking and bending the rules of photography to your liking.
After a long time its finally time for a new preset pack.
Found some inspiration in today's mysterious misty haze. The pack contains a bluish, a greenish and a neutral preset for you to enjoy.
The 3 presets can be downloaded from here: Intothemist-preset-pack.zip
Just extract into your Lightroom preset folder, and have fun. Remember to share your results in the comments below.
The Koken "Image Protector" plugin is almost perfect, it blocks right click "save image as..." on most images except probably the most important one, the largest of them all in the lightbox.
This has obviously been bugging me for a while, and tonight I decided to track down the issue and write a quick fix for it.
WARNING! Before proceeding this fix requires editing in native Koken files and may be overwritten by future updates.
Info! I have replaced curly brackets with regular brackets to avoid rendering and show the code
Before you begin make a backup of the folder /koken/app/site/themes/ this is where we make all of our edits.
Open /koken/app/site/themes/lightbox.lens in your favorite editor
At the very end just above the closing body tag </body> add the following code
Now open /koken/app/site/themes/common/js/lightbox.js in your editor
And on line 417 add the following code:
Now open your admin panel go to Site and click on Costum CSS in the lower left corner and add the following CSS.
-webkit-box-shadow: 0 1px 4px rgba(0,0,0,.4);
-moz-box-shadow: 0 1px 4px rgba(0,0,0,.4);
box-shadow: 0 1px 4px rgba(0,0,0,.4);
That's it you now have image protection in lightbox as well. If you are to lazy to manually edit the files individually you can download the edited files here: Download
Here you go my newest free Lightroom preset. It gives your winter images a beautiful cool tone, while still warming those yellow colors.

Winter has arrived, and stating the obvious winter bring temperatures below zero. Something our drone batteries really don't like.
If you have flown in temperatures below zero, you have probably like me already tried getting the propulsion output limited warning on your DJI Go app, and I bet you the first time it happend your heart jumped and you took your drone down straight away and rushed home and started googeling until you discovered that it wasn't a issue but merely a security measurement DJI has implemented.
I have found that the Heat Pads used to warm sore muscles and joints work excellent as small heaters, the one I buy in my local supermarket are activated by air so as soon as I break the plastic the slowly begin heating to about 30 degrees Celsius and can keep your drone and batteries warm all day.
It takes them about half an hour to reach maximum heat so I usually opens two and place with my batteries before I leave home. It is a small and cheap way to keep your drone warm and safe in your backpack while hiking to location. And also it has a ekstra bonus IMU warmup goes really fast because your drone is all ready warm when you get on location.
Hope this helps someone out there :-)
